Chennai Rhino's

Following the Chennai Superkings's conquest of the last two editions of the IPL, its now the Chennai Rhino's who've won the 1st edition of the all new Celebrity Cricket League. After an action packed week in the CCL, it was the Karnataka Bulldozers and the Rhino's who made it to


the final stage of the event, and the final at Hyderabad was a treat to watch. Vikranth and Vishnu batted beautifully and helped Chennai to an intimidating total of 190 in their quota of 20 overs. The Bulldozers fought hard with Druvaa making a neat 50.....but throughout their batting innings they always looked like they were going to fall short of the target. Vishnu was Judged player of the series while Vikranth bagged the man of the match award for his superb innings with the bat and he also took a wicket. It looks like this edition has served as a platform for a lot more exciting editions in the future with the introduction of two new teams for next year.....Bengal and Kerala. The respective owners of the new teams spoke at the presentation ceremony after the finals about what they thought about this fantastic concept and what their teams are likely to offer in the next edition. Overall the CCL has been a success and has been a pleasure to watch for all cricket and cinema fans throughout the country.
